The Research Unit 5762, coordinated by Prof. David Vilchez and Prof. Thorsten Hoppe, is dedicated to investigating the "Cell Non-Autonomous Regulation of Organismal Proteostasis." In collaboration with the University Hospital and University of Cologne, the University of Konstanz, and the Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research, scientists from these institutions are exploring the mechanisms underlying proteostasis regulation across different tissues, both in healthy and diseased states.
For the diverse tasks of project management, we are looking for a dedicated candidate with a scientific background which has been obtained through a doctorate or equivalent degree. The project management will be responsible for the coordination of the program for the PhD students in the research group, the international networking with European and non-European partners, the organization of scientific events and conferences as well as the administrative support of the implementation of the overall project.
