Postdoctoral staff scientist position (f/m/x) for W2 Marga and Walter Boll-endowed professorship

The successful candidate will employ flow cytometry, cell culture, CRISPR and molecular biology, imaging, experimental models, and omics analysis (e.g. single cell RNAseq and metabolomics) to interrogate lymphocyte metabolism and function in health and disease.
Applicants will have access to cutting-edge technology and the opportunity to join a highly collaborative environment of several well-established groups working closely together in studying immune cell responses in cardiovascular disease and oncology models.

• We seek highly motivated and dynamic candidates with a PhD in biomedical sciences or related fields. Experience in the aforementioned areas, especially in flow cytometry, primary cell culture and a background in immunology (e.g. evidenced by highimpact publications) is required. Preferred candidates will have bioinformatics skills for omics analysis or are trained in immunemetabolism research.
• You will participate in establishing a dynamic scientific program studying immune responses by T cells. Your involvement in writing grants is encouraged with the goal of your own third-party funding acquisition.
• You will be involved in supervising undergraduate, graduate and PhD students.
