The successful candidate will join a dynamic research lab (www.eming.uni-koeln.de) and will participate in the analysis of molecular mechanisms regulating skin injury, repair and homeostasis. In the particular project we are interested to understand how immune cells sense tissue damage, control tissue growth and differentiation, and which are the signals that lead to deregulation of these processes during inflammatory skin diseases, tissue fibrosis or cancer.
