The ‘Mildred Scheel School of Oncology Aachen-Bonn-Cologne-Düsseldorf’ (MSSO ABCD) is a program of excellence together within the cancer center CIO (Centrum für Integrierte Onkologie) for the promotion of young researchers in translational oncology and funded by the German Cancer Aid (Deutsche Krebshilfe). The MSSO ABCD dual training strategy aims to promote a new generation of translational cancer researchers and offers physicians and life science postgraduates an excellent opportunity to further their academic career in the field of translational oncology. The school is built on expertise at all sites in cancer genomics, computational biology, tumor immunology and genotype-stratified drug-design. The postgraduate program is flanked by seminars and courses in related topics, workshops, lecture series, as well as career development opportunities.

- Starting date is within 6 months of acceptance
- Full-time or part-time (50%) for 1-2 years, limited until December 31, 2027 (third-party funded project) - ongoing recruitment process during the funding period
- Your salary will be based on TV-L / TV-Ä.
